Advanced Kayaking Camp

The Experience

Advanced Camps with two nights camping are $385 per participant. There is a prerequisite to have taken part in previous camps to gain paddling and saftey skills. This advanced program is for the participants to plan, provision, pack and complete a short expedition. The first two days will be based at the Silva Bay Inn from 9:30 am-2:00 pm. Day three participants will arrive with their camping gear and food, and we will paddle out to a camp site close by. Day four we will pack up and change camp sites for our second night. Day five we will paddle home and be back at the Silva Bay Inn by 2pm. We will assign meals to each participant to help cook and clean in groups. We will be focusing on ‘leave no trace’ camping ethics, and on how to execute a sucessful camping trip. This special camp is a great way to learn new skills and enjoy our local area during the summer!
